My 19 month old loves this toy!! It takes about 10 minutes or so to assemble (15-20 minutes if you have his help like I did). I think $45 was a little too much money to pay though. Overall I’m glad I purchased it since he plays woth it a little more than any of his other toys. Worth the money in the end.

My 2 and a half year old son received this for Christmas and it’s still a favorite almost 6 months later. So many possibilities! He’s a big boy at almost 40 lb and sits on this, with no ill effects, though I tell him not to, just in case. Well worth the money, looks like new in spite of daily use.

Why is this one so expensive compared to the $30 dollar one else where? Because it is not the same one! Notice the little dog on the box of this one, it shows the difference. Assuming this one does come with the “touch and feel” dog, it was a “exclusive with touch and feel dog” edition. Other than that, it appears to be about the same as the cheaper one. Note that this one can be found for around $60 dollars elsewhere, however.

While looking for a sturdy toy for my 2 yr old grand nephew I was attracted to this. However, for the life of me I can’t figure out why they are charging $450.00 for it! Who in their right mind would pay that much money for a little boy to play with? Good grief!

We’ve gotten lots of play time out of this toy. Very well made.

The Little People Ramps Around Garage is a gem. Remembering how I personally loved my garage when I was little (must have been at least 58 yrs ago, it was METAL!)and how my kids loved theirs (36-7 Yrs ago), I knew this was a must…and it’s much safer now being plastic. Both of my grandsons have played with this toy constantly. They can even sit/stand on it, very sturdy. The 4 1/2 yr. old has had it for 3 years and I just gave it to my 18 mo. old this year. A big hit, you can’t go wrong…and it’s good for both girls and boys. I find that “Little People” toys are excellent choices. They also have the Airport, Farm and a few others, my brain can’t remember all the fun stuff. Recommend highly, it’s hard to make a wrong choice with this brand.

    Little People Christmas Story Nativity

This is the 5th set I have purchased. One for each grandchild their first Christmas. The sets have been played with all year long and has been enjoyed for the durablity and creativity of Fisher Price is top notch. Highly recommend this product.

I used to take orders at Christmas time, for Fisher-Price. I LOVED this when I first saw it, and also when I realized that they came out in a slightly different version each year. Well, by doing that, FP encouraged people to consider these more a collectible, and a way of making money, than as an educational toy. I could NOT believe that people would call and order 10 or more at a time of this adorable toy, and put them on EBay for $100 dollars - 3 times the original price! And people were nasty when we were forced to limit how many they could buy at a time!! That is just SO sad!
Anyway, tho, I’m thinking of getting one or 2 for future grandkids…..I know I just can’t lose! (God bless all of you, too, who realize the REAL value of this beautiful set!)

I purchased this item almost four years ago for my oldest son. I wanted him to have a nativity set he could play with before Christmas arrived. It spurred many coversations about baby Jesus and the story of the manger. It has been played with numerous times and I am pleased with its durability.

It is nice to see the description has been changed since my purchase. I noticed many customers bought it thinking it would light up and play music as I had originally thought. All in all, this was a good purchase.

The kids enjoy acting out the Christmas story, but they all want to know…where’s Joseph?

Price was horribly high but I had not seen this product in a very long time in the stores.

This was a horrible product. My kids were so disappointed. No matter what I did I could not get the ramps to stay attached to front. It’s flimsy and when handled by a toddler it will fall apart every time. Do not recommend!

I expected a better quality toy from Sesame Street and Fisher Price. It is designed to fall apart and disappoint. Do not waste your money or an inch of space in your house on this toy.

This toy was a great disapointment! The ramp keeps falling off the back and my daughter keeps asking me to reattach it. So if my daughter is playing with it I am constantly inturupted to put it back togeather. The pieces are supposed to snap into place but become easily unattached. My daughter is 4 and more careful than an 18 month old which is the minimum recommended age. I thought this would be great for her to play with her younger sister. Don’t wast your money!

This toy falls apart every time you sneeze in it’s direction. I bought it for my 18 month old and he gets so upset about the ramps falling off all the time that I had to put it away in the closet so he can’t even see it. I finally broke down and got some crazy glue to try to keep it together - I hope that will help! I wouldn’t reccomend this to anyone - even if you could get it for free! Terrible toy!

We bought this toy for the “kids” area of our chiropractic office. The kids enjoy it and my toddler loves it!

I bought this to my 1.5 years old daughter. She played with it a bit and now its just standing there.
The elevator is not that easy to use and sometimes it is hard to pull it up as it is being stuck on the way (requires some strength to pull it up).
The top green part gets apart easily and as it is being pulled often by the kid, it is annoying.
The little people are always falling off the cars and it is hard to keep them in.

  • 18 Quiran

This was one of my favorite toys growing up but this newer version is made very cheap! The elevator never works right and the ramp is always falling apart! Would never recommend this product to anyone!

I was fortunate enough to grow up in the 80’s when this product was still a blast — what happened?? I just bought the garage for my one year old daughter because of the fond memories I had of it as a child and I was disappointed in the changes that were made to it. Although she seems to love it (so far), I can’t help but wish I’d held out and searched tag sales for the older version.

As I recall, the older version gave you space to drive the cars around below the ramp and between the elevator. While the extra twist on the ramp is great, it eliminates the driving space.

The older version also gave you a handle to turn in order to lift the cars in the elevator — where did it go? This “lift the elevator to the top” business is disappointing. Part of the joy of the older version was turning the handle, watching the elevator lift (as if by magic!), and hearing the bell dinging as it went. I miss that!

For a parking garage, there sure is a lack of parking! I remember the older ones having a little parking area on top that you could make spin in a circle. That, too, has been eliminated.

In addition to those disappointing changes, the new version’s ramp (despite all of the bolts and snaps) is already detaching even though we’ve only been playing with it for a half hour.

As a final disappointment, the gas pump has changed as well. Where there was once a gas pump attached by a fabric made hose, there is now a plastic one that is not easy to move about. Where there was once a little space for the nozzle to sit in (like on a real gas pump), there is nothing.

So much of the charm of the old version has been lost for this recent model. My daughter may be too young to know the difference just yet, but I remember the better days of the Fisher Price garage! I think I’m going to begin scouring tag sales for the old one — we’d both enjoy it more!
