My babies ADORE their colorful stacking rings. They always want a stacking ring to tote around on their travels throughout our house. They want a colorful ring on their foot when they get a diaper change. They want a colorful ring in the ball pit. Sometimes one of them will try to overpower the other to get ALL the colorful rings. This reminds me that I need to buy some more colorful rings.

Five stars all day all the way.

My Mother-In-Law got this for my son when he was six months old. He has played with these blocks pretty much everyday since then. They are small and light and easy for those little teeny hands to grab. When he first got them he would bang the blocks together, bang the blocks on the bucket, and then grab the bucket with his feet and study it. Then he tried to grab two blocks at once. Then three. He would grab the blocks out of the bucket. We stack them, he knocks them down. He grabs the lid and bangs it on everything in sight. Now that he’s figuring out how to put things into other things he’ll put the blocks into everything, into the middle of his stackable rings, into buckets, into the actual bucket and occasionally he’ll place a block on top of the lid and then look at me like - did I do that right? We’re also now putting just the lid on the floor and setting the blocks into the right holes so he can see what goes where, which he is very interested in.

I love it that some day, when he’s older, he’ll make the connection between the actual block and cutout shapes and start putting the blocks through the correct holes. I think that mental connection is more important then just forcing things through whatever hole they happen to fit in. I guess eventually babies will get the concept either way but for us this is the perfect shape sorter.

These blocks and shape sorter is fabulous. My son loved it right from the beginning and is still fascinated with the pieces. He’s just about 12 months and we’ve had it since he was about 6 months. Fisher-Price makes great toys at great prices!

The one problem with this toy is that the yellow lid will not stay on the box. It comes off so easily. My baby is not encouraged to try putting the shapes through the lid, since it falls right off. I wish it latched on just a little bit.

My almost-2-year-old daughter has had these blocks for about a year and still enjoys playing with them. The only reason why I won’t give it a perfect score is because the lid is too easy to take off. Otherwise, they’re easy to clean and fun to take on trips to keep her busy.

I bought this item for my, then, 6 months old. He didn’t seem to take a liking to it at first but at about 7 months he really got into the blocks. Now, all he does when he plays is look for his blocks! They are easy to grasp, even for tiny hands and with Fisher Price, I have never been concerned with product durability. My son gets a lot of use with them, and I think the bright colors make it a favorite for him. The best part about it is there is enough room to put additional odds and ends in it making it great for playtime on the go. “A” product

I was given this as a baby shower gift, and originally had it in the crib. My 10 week old son loved it. However, we live 8 hours away from any family, so long car trips are a given. We decided to visit them when he was 8 weeks old, and I decided to attach the Waterfall Soother to the headrest so that he would have something to look at when traveling.

This was a great idea…he was a great traveler, but when he started to get fussy or agitated, I’d start the soother and he’d be distracted for a bit. I’m now looking to purchase a second one for the crib, since this one will most likely stay in the car.

My only suggestions for improvement would be to create a longer setting with lights, music and sound. Right now, it’s only 6 minutes long with all three, and I’d have enjoyed having it the full 18 minutes. Also, I would LOVE to have a remote control for it! The FP Ocean Wonders Aquarium has one, and I wish this one had it, too. Would have been very handy for the car, so that one of us wasn’t constantly reaching back to reset it.

I have read other reviews that the light is too bright, but I found it to be rather muted. Overall, I’m very happy with this product and would highly recommend it!

I do really like this product. Like others have said, I wish the time it would stay on would be longer while still allowing for lights and movement. It stays on long enough with just music. I have a more modern crib that converts to a toddler bed. Because of the thickness of the rails on the sides, the toy will only attach to either end of the crib. My 6 month old can’t see it yet, but she can hear the music. I think she’ll enjoy it as she gets older and can interact with it.

I bought this with the hope that it would help my 5 month old fall asleep in his crib. Not so much. He does find it entertaining for a few minutes, but I haven’t noticed any soothing occurring. I agree with another reviewer that the lights are WAY too bright if you’re trying to put a baby to sleep (he’s actually winced when I’ve turned it on in the darkened room), so I ended up covering it with a blanket to help dull it a little. And the monkey and frog squeak when they move so I have to turn that feature off too. And it doesn’t stay on for as long as I thought it would (I chose this over another for that specific reason). So all in all, a waste of money. I’ll keep it and maybe it will entertain him long enough for me to get in a quick shower, but for sleeping purposes it’s a complete wash.

I was against getting a lot of baby gear with lights and music and didn’t register for it, but someone gave this to me, describing it as “crack for babies.” Probably not the best analogy, but I’m really glad I have the soother. It plays really nice, soothing music along with nature sounds. You can set it for just nature sounds if you don’t like the music. And the soft blue light and gently moving animals help distract baby long enough for him to forget that he doesn’t want to go to sleep and drift off into dreamland. It’s also so easy to operate that my baby figured out how to turn it on from about 3 months old. Sometimes I’ll hear it come on in the middle of the night if he wakes up, and it helps get him back to sleep.

My son first had this in the NICU when he moved out of his isolete and into a crib. He would stare at this rainforest and seemed really engaged so we bought one so he would have it at home too (my husband wanted him to have something familiar at home- so cute!) Now he is a little over 6 months old (he was a preemie so he is almost 4 months adjusted) and he still loves it. I don’t use it at night for him to fall asleep, in fact, I turn him the other way in his crib so he doesn’t accidentally turn it on in the middle of the night. It works great if I need to put him in his crib to get something done for a few minutes and sometimes I use it during the day for naptime because it is already bright in the room. I have never changed the batteries but I use it one time a day at the most. It is really cute and my son is already figuring out how to turn it on for himself. As long as you don’t plan on using it as your nighttime “mobile” then it is awesome! (A side note- it doesn’t attach to my crib because of the chunky rails around the top but my mom attached it to the bumper and it is very secure.)

My (now 2 1/2-year old) daughter received this for her first birthday. She loved it from the start. It’s not a toy that she plays with every day, but there aren’t many of those, are there? Some of the negative reviews stated the children weren’t interested in it constantly. We do not have it in the middle of the floor, but in a corner where she can play with it when she wants. She “discovers” it from time to time & gets excited all over again. My 11-month old son is interested in it, even though he is too small to ride it by himself. Hopefully, he will enjoy it when he is big enough. My three-year old niece enjoys riding it when she visits. Be aware, it is very loud & boisterous when it is being ridden, but they love it even more because of that (of course). Also, it tends to move a little across the hardwood floor when being ridden. Overall, I would recommend this toy because it is fun & provides good exercise & balance for little legs (bouncing) & arms (holding on).

Its verey durable- she’s the third to use it after two boys! And she’ll sit and jump while watching tv with her great-grandpa. We love it.

My now 17 month old son received this for his first birthday. He seemed to enjoy it, but was still a bit young for it. I figured he’d like it much more once he learned to walk, and was able to get on and off it himself. I was right.

Once I felt comfortable that he wouldn’t hurt himself on this, I put it in his playroom, and he uses it everyday! He LOVES to bounce…has since he was a tiny little baby. So this has proved to be the perfect toy for him! I placed it by the window in his playroom, so he’ll sit on while looking out the window, and just bounce away! It’s great for getting him to use up some of the never-ending energy he seems to have!

Overall, a GREAT toy for toddlers. I definitely wouldn’t get it till your child is walking on their own, but once they reach the point where they can get on and off it on their own, they’ll have tons of fun on this!

My 18 mo old nephew loves this toy. He could ride it for hours, he loves it. It seems pretty well made, especially for the price.

We bought this before my daughter’s legs were even long enough to use it on her own, but she would still love to sit on it and we would sit next to her and bounce it for her and she had a blast and always wanted to keep going long after our arms were tired.

Now that her legs are long enough she still loves to climb on and bounce like there’s no tomorrow, although she’ll go through little ’spurts’ of wanting to ride it. It’s great exercise for their little legs, especially if they are cooped up indoors for a while.

The only down-side is it does take up a good amount of space and you really need to place it in the center of a room away from other pieces of furniture in case they fall off or get carried away climbing on and off.

I purchased this for my sister, who recently gave birth to a boy. He is now six months old and has enjoyed since he was two months old. The toys are at different heights and give him something new to reach for as he grows. The sounds are fantastic, very relaxing to both adults and babies, and it’s nice that they last for about 20 minutes, so we don’t have to continuously reset things when we are visiting ourselves.

When I have have my child, this will be one of the first things I purchase!
