Keeps him interested for a little bit because of the animals and the noise it makes but I might go for something with more action.

This toy is excellent for a baby or toddler. My daughter had one for her little girl and the first thing she did every morning when she got out of bed was play with this toy. She put the balls in and as the music played did her little dance with a big smile. I purchased one for my new granddaughter - 14 months old. Cost me on Amazon.com $47.88. I could not find anywhere else.

We bought this when my daughter was 9 months old and she loved it. It was steady enought that she could hold the top and lean over to get a ball on the ground if she dropped it. We kept it until my kids got too big and then we gave it away, but it was still in almost perfect condition even after 2 kids.
The bright colors and design make the kids interested and the music makes them want to dance. The toy teaches hand-eye coordination and stability.
Great toy I highly recommend it!!

As grandmother to several little ones, I can honestly say this was my best toy investment. It has provided many hours of entertainment when the grandchildren visit, the music is fun, and the balls are large enough that they are not a worry for the younger ones.

My daughter loved it while playing with at friends house. We bought her one. It helps them to stand,( although somewhat wobbly)pull themselves up, and cause and effect.

My mother in law has this toy at her house for a baby girl that she takes care of, and whenever my daughter would visit she would love to play with it. For her birthday, we decided to get it for her, and she loves it. I think it’s educational because she is learning cause and effect, and gets the reward of the music for hitting the lever to release the balls. She has been understanding how to play with it since she was about 7 months old, so it is really easy for even little ones to play with. She is now 13 months, and it’s still a favorite. If your daughter is like mine though, definately get some extra balls for it because we lost the four that came with it within two days! This toy is great!

We got this in 2005 for our first son. It was the first toy he really played with and learning to push down the lever to make the gumball come out was the first deliberate motor skill he showed while playing. It took longer to get him to learn to put the gumballs back in, so we needed to play with it with him to re-load it for him. For months he played with this. Now our second son is playing with it, and again, it was the first toy I really saw him action a new and deliberate skill with while playing. Neither child really ever used the yellow clicking turn lever on the front. It has stood up well to being knocked down over and over again, having foreign objects stuffed in it and then knocked back out. We purchased other sets of the roll arounds balls and were able to get a lot of play out of this toy with all of the extra balls too, which I recommend. For the price and 3 years and 2 babies, I am very happy with this purchase.

First off, do not buy this toy here. I just bought this from Toys R Us for $23.99. I went to find my 16 month old daughter a new toy to play with. She isn’t impressed with the “push a button and lights flash” toys. She likes interactive toys that require a little challenge. I saw this toy on the shelf and as soon as I pulled it off the shelf she immediately started reaching for it. She started turning the little knob in the front and I thought “SOLD!”. We got home and she couldn’t wait for me to take it out of the packaging. She immediately begun playing with it. She loves that she can put the balls in the top, push the little lever, and they roll out the bottom. So overall I’m pretty satisfied with this toy. I don’t think it’s the best toy ever, but it’s pretty good :o)

My kids loved this toy so much that I bought it for my niece. It’s great for all ages. I even caught my 5 and 7 year old playing with it:)

We gave this to our daughter for Christmas when she was 3 months old, for something for her to grow into. She loved the lights and music right away. She has been playing with it ever since (she’s now 11 months) and loves it. It keeps her attention longer than anything. Great toy. Teaches cause and effect and motor skills.

I bought this for my grandson’s 6th birthday… at his request. He loved it. I was the hit of the party, even with a couple of the adults. And his little 2 year old brother loved it as well. It’s a great teaching tool for these young kids who want to learn to hit the ball. I’d definitely buy it again.

My 2 1/2 year old loves it. Dont listen to the nay sayers. I dont know what there is to gripe about. It works great. My boy beats it to death with the included bat and it still works great.
Loads of fun

I did not rate this toy very high on educational value, but it is definitely great for eye-hand coordination! I have four grand children(two girls and two boys)…all of them love it!
