I bought this because my mom was desperate for the classic version that I played with as a kid. This isn’t it. The toy is smaller and the handle is so stiff my 15 month old gets pissed trying to make it talk. Also, in the interest of cramming more animals in there are ’sounds’ that are non-sense like the bunny who goes ‘boing’ are you kidding me? Use your cash to buy something GOOD for the baby in your life.

First off, I should say I never put the batteries in this toy. My oldest child has a speech delay, and I have been told by multiple speech therapists to avoid ANY toys that make noise, as then the children don’t have to.

My boys are 4yo and 2.5yo. Slightly older I think than some people who purchased this toy. I would NOT recommend it for a child under 2yo. They will get frustrated with it. However, my 2.5yo can easily take it apart/put it back together and loves that aspect of it. He turns it all upside down, etc. and then says “meeska mooska mickey mouse!” and turns it back and puts it back together. YES! the pieces come apart, but I believe this makes it better and allows for more imaginative play. You can take the hand off and float it around the room for instance. You can pull it apart and use different portions and ‘find’ all the pieces to the clubhouse (as they do in one episode or another).

My kids loved this toy so much that they spent 2 days not playing with their other toys because they were so enthralled with it. If your kids LOVE the mickey mouse clubhouse show and are old enough to not get frustrated I would HIGHLY recommend this toy.

I gave it 4 stars only because from other reviews it does not do the sounds it should, etc. Like I said, its a feature I find unnecessary and its been a wonderful toy without it.

My Mom bought the Mickey Raceway & the Clubhouse for my twins, a boy and a girl, age 2. They hardly play with it, and both my husband and I were disapointed with the construction of the toy. The parts come apart easily, and the clubhouse itself is cheaply designed with a garage that looks nothing like a garage or the garage on the show. I agree with the other reviews, it’s not right that they promise it has a slide and lights…because it doesn’t.
The coolest thing about this clubhouse is that it sings the “Hot Dog Song,” but it sounds like they had some drunk guy with no singing experience, sing it in a bathroom closet. It sounds vaguely like the version by They Might Be Giants, but not close enough to fool my kids.

The clubhouse is totally boring to my grandson. It doesn’t stay together, it comes apart too easily. It really doesn’t do much to entertain at all. My grandson is a really mickey mouse clubouse fan. So this toy was a real disappointment.

The pieces on either side just sort of balance in place. Just holding it in your hands it feels cheap. I drilled a few tiny holes and used color matching zip ties to hold the pieces onto the sides, but that shouldn’t be necessary. Even with that done, and it staying together you’ll get possibly 5 minutes of entertainment out of the thing. It was really a let down! Sell the kid on something else if they are stuck on it! At least try!

If your kid is obsessed with MM Club House…this is the toy for you! Great price, it is pretty basic, but does the trick for a little disney fan. Very sturdy.

Play food is always fun and Fisher Price doesn’t disappoint with this set. My one year old loves it, particularly the radio which has 3 stations including beach sounds on one. The picnic basket has elestic bands in the top to hold the plates and napkins. That is the only feature that he is unable to manipulate. I would definitely give it as a gift for another toddler or prescholler.

My grandson loves it. It goes very well with his toy BBQ grille. He is only 3, and wanting to do all the things dad does. BBQ-ing is a big one, and this set helps with the pretending as well as learning.

Got this darling picnic set to go with the “Sizzlin’ Cool BBQ Set”. The picnic set is filled with very fun and imaginative foods (curled chips, hot dog with bun, etc.) and the little radio was a VERY big hit!!!! The “basket” provides a tidy container and the graphics on the basket are awesome! This is a quality product and a ton of fun for our 2-1/2 year-old grandchild!
