This was a horrible product. My kids were so disappointed. No matter what I did I could not get the ramps to stay attached to front. It’s flimsy and when handled by a toddler it will fall apart every time. Do not recommend!

I have to admit, I read all of the negative reviews and purchased it anyway.

This toy is a piece of junk. Aside from agreeing with the other reviewers who say it falls apart and is basically useless as a “garage”, our particular toy came out of the box already broken. It doesn’t make any sound. Unfortunately the receipt is long gone and I cannot return it to the store. Such a disappointment for my boys, too, because they were so excited by the picture on the box. But I absolutely refuse to spend money on a replacement.

If you’re like me and feel the urge to buy this toy despite the bad reviews, do your homework and find the lowest possible price first. I would say that spending more than [...] on this is a total waste of your hard earned dollars.

My boys still play with the little cars, and my two year old gets a kick out of lifting the elevator, but I regret sinking money into something I was warned about.

We saw this toy on our way out of Toys R Us, it was at the customer service counter because somebody had returned it. That alone should have been reason enough not to buy it. We came home and put it together only to discover what a total piece of junk it was. However, once we ditched the ramps my son really enjoyed the main portion of the toy that has all the buttons and stuff. We kept it for that reason alone. He does play with it, so it wasn’t a complete waste of money.

I found this on sale at Target and bought it for my then 1 1/2 year old. She liked the concept, but none of the pieces of the ramps would stay together. After a week of frustration, I donated it to Goodwill. There are so many better toys out there that I would not waste a dime on this one.

Just got this as a gift for our twin 19month old boys. We were as excited as they were - until we tried to put it together. I cannot believe Fisher Price produces such junk. None of the parts pop in as they should. Absolute complete waste of time, money and plastic. Now, we’ll have to spend time calling the company to make good on the this - after reading these reviews, we’ll ask for a voucher instead of the same toy. Do not purchase this product.

I got this as a gift for my son. It fell apart so many times we eventually just threw it away. The tracks literally just fell apart and wouldn’t stay put. My son was 2 at the time and was not being destructive with it. It is a TOTAL waste of money.

I was fortunate enough to grow up in the 80’s when this product was still a blast — what happened?? I just bought the garage for my one year old daughter because of the fond memories I had of it as a child and I was disappointed in the changes that were made to it. Although she seems to love it (so far), I can’t help but wish I’d held out and searched tag sales for the older version.

As I recall, the older version gave you space to drive the cars around below the ramp and between the elevator. While the extra twist on the ramp is great, it eliminates the driving space.

The older version also gave you a handle to turn in order to lift the cars in the elevator — where did it go? This “lift the elevator to the top” business is disappointing. Part of the joy of the older version was turning the handle, watching the elevator lift (as if by magic!), and hearing the bell dinging as it went. I miss that!

For a parking garage, there sure is a lack of parking! I remember the older ones having a little parking area on top that you could make spin in a circle. That, too, has been eliminated.

In addition to those disappointing changes, the new version’s ramp (despite all of the bolts and snaps) is already detaching even though we’ve only been playing with it for a half hour.

As a final disappointment, the gas pump has changed as well. Where there was once a gas pump attached by a fabric made hose, there is now a plastic one that is not easy to move about. Where there was once a little space for the nozzle to sit in (like on a real gas pump), there is nothing.

So much of the charm of the old version has been lost for this recent model. My daughter may be too young to know the difference just yet, but I remember the better days of the Fisher Price garage! I think I’m going to begin scouring tag sales for the old one — we’d both enjoy it more!

I bought this to my 1.5 years old daughter. She played with it a bit and now its just standing there.
The elevator is not that easy to use and sometimes it is hard to pull it up as it is being stuck on the way (requires some strength to pull it up).
The top green part gets apart easily and as it is being pulled often by the kid, it is annoying.
The little people are always falling off the cars and it is hard to keep them in.

This was one of my favorite toys growing up but this newer version is made very cheap! The elevator never works right and the ramp is always falling apart! Would never recommend this product to anyone!

We bought this toy for the “kids” area of our chiropractic office. The kids enjoy it and my toddler loves it!

My 19 month old loves this toy!! It takes about 10 minutes or so to assemble (15-20 minutes if you have his help like I did). I think $45 was a little too much money to pay though. Overall I’m glad I purchased it since he plays woth it a little more than any of his other toys. Worth the money in the end.
