Easy to assemble and makes neat sounds that my 1-year old son really seemed to find interesting. The handle, as many have pointed out, does not stand up. The mower rolls freely without friction, so kids who are still learning how to walk will fall if they try to use the mower to steady themselves. That’s why I gave it three stars. We just got it, though, so that might be revised. If you’re looking for a walking toy to give little ones confidence while they find their feet, this is probably not what you want.

My grandson loves his Fisher-Price learning mower! He ‘mows’ all around the living room with it. He had seen one at a birthday party he attended and couldn’t keep his hands off it. My daughter loves the fact that the handle is collapsible, so it can be stored easily under something.

My 18 month old loves this toy, can play with it for a long period of time. Cons: The handle isn’t stationary so it took him about 30 minutes to figure out that he can’t go too fast or the handle falls. The other con it is loud so I put it away after a while but he really loves this toy. Outside playing would be perfect but we let him play in the house.

this mower makes a bunch of different noises and is very fun for my daughter. I just wish that the handle would stay up.

I purchased this toy for my 14 month great nephew as a Christmas gift. I read a few of the reviews, and I will agree the toy is loud. My newphew loves it! My niece said that he’s still going strong two weeks after xmas. I gave it a 3 stars for it’s educational value, since you can barely hear the “abc” song.

We took this out of the box when our baby was 6month and she immediately like it, she is now 1 year old and keeps finding new things to do.
there are some annoying features in it, like the key to the door cannot stay in and does not do much, so she cannot really use it. The music is nice and the best feature is turning on the light which was the first thing my daughter managed to do with great satisfaction. She still can’t put the shapes into their special place, so she still has something to learn…

This was by far the best toy purchase we’ve ever made for my son and he’s 3 now. We purchased this house when he was 6 months old and he fell in love with it. He loved opening and shutting the door and we loved that it would say “open” and “closed” when he would, so that he would know the difference in open and closed. The little chimney on the side counts the balls as the child drops them in, and the shape sorter is great for motor skills, just like any shape sorter. The fact that the door has a key and the child can turn it, is just wonderful. The light turns on and off with an over-sized real looking light switch and of course it tells the child “on” and “off.” The folks at Fisher Price have outdone themselves with this toy. My 3 year old would still play with this if we didn’t have it put away. We purchased the Step 2 Doorway Play house for him for Christmas because it is kind of like this little house, but for 1 and up, I think. We sadly, put the learning home in the attic after Christmas, but my son would still play with it if we had room for it. I recommend this little house to every one with a baby. My best friend just purchased one for her 6 month old because I told her she had to get one and that her baby would love it and of course, she does=) If you haven’t ordered this yet, what are you waiting for? It will be your child’s favorite toy for sure.

I purchased the laugh and learn home for my son about a year and a half ago. He loved it and played with it consistently for a few months. He has recently started showing interest in it again,(at 2 1/2), but it has stopped working altogether. It had started acting funny a few months ago. I replaced batteries, but it didn’t help. It just seemed to work when it wanted to. I’m very disappointed in this toy. I loved it for it’s compact design, and learning at different levels. For the price I paid for it I expected to have it for a few years. I don’t reccommend buying this toy.

We have had 4 Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Homes. The first one had a broken circuit board, the 2nd died and completely quit working in 3 months, and the third (replacement from FP) does not make the correct sounds when y0ou push the doorbell and the light does not work. This toy was a lot of fun when it worked, but lately it has just been a huge hassle.

This gift was the biggest hit with my twin grand daughters on their first birthday. It’s a baby magnet….they enjoy the music and all
    the bells and whistles.

My ten month old LOVES this toy. He hasn’t figured out how to stack the rings yet, but he happily pulls them off if someone stacks them. He likes to play with the rings: chewing on them, banging them on the floor, waving them around, etc. He REALLY likes banging the post part on the floor, since it makes satisfyingly loud noises on the tile. I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth on this one!
